Perry County CARES Act Funding Application is now available

The Perry County CARES Act Funding Application is now available on Perry County’s website at www.perrycountymo.us, and the Southeast Missouri Regional Planning Commission’s website at semorpc.org for eligible uses as outlined by guidance by the U.S. Department of Treasury which can be found at treasurer.mo.gov/COVID.

The application process is currently open to public entities and schools in Perry County serving students in grades K-12. The applications will possibly be expanded to other organizations at a later date. Applications must be submitted by July 31, 2020 to be considered for the first award decisions expected to be made on August 13, 2020.  All applications must be submitted to the Southeast Missouri Regional Planning Commission by mail, email, or fax. Contact information is included in the application instructions. 

The guidelines provided by the U.S. Department of Treasury and State of Missouri will be utilized in reviewing eligibility of all applications. Please direct any questions to the Southeast Missouri Regional Planning Commission regarding the application process, required documentation, and eligibility.

When submitting your application, please include all requested documentation (budget, detail of expense, invoices, cancelled checks or EFT, etc). Also submit the Perry County CARES Act Funds Award Agreement, which is available on the websites listed above.

Applications are for reimbursement purposes only. Any entity may submit multiple applications as additional expenses are incurred.
