Transfer Station

Appliances, bulky items, and extra trash can be brought to our facility for disposal. Fees must be paid on site with cash or check. According to Missouri Revised Statutes 307.010 and Perry County Policy, all loads must be covered or secured. Trailers without sides must be covered. Disposal items cannot be hanging off the vehicle in any way. Any vehicle without its load covered or secured will be assessed a $25 unsecured load fee in addition to the general disposal/white goods rate.

Tipping Fee Schedule

Effective January 1, 2026

The following fees are established for the disposal of acceptable solid waste at the Perry County Transfer Station. Fees are due at the time of disposal unless charged to an approved departmental account authorized by the Perry County Commission.

Resident Rates (Perry County, Missouri)


Cost per Ton: $71.00

Minimum Charge (420 lb. minimum): $15.00


Non-Resident Rates


Cost per Ton: $112.00

Minimum Charge (420 lb. minimum): $50.00

  • Hours of operation at the Perry County Transfer Station are Monday-Friday 8 a.m. - 3:45 p.m., and the fourth Saturday of 8 a.m. -10:45 a.m. every month. The Perry County Recycling Center hours are Monday-Friday 7 a.m. - 4 pm, and 8 a.m. -11a.m. on Saturdays. 
  • The transfer station accepts cash or check only as a form of payment. 
  • Batteries, tires, waste oil, asbestos or other hazardous material will not be accepted. No electronic equipment will be accepted.
